We have had this motor since the late forty's or early 50's. Runs and I want to restore it. All identification stickers are long gone. It is air cooled, single cylinder two stroke and my guess is that it is around one to one and a half horse, engine is a tecumseh, From the engine down is identical to a barracuda model 89. no water pump or shift. Just need to identify it and possibly find a place that can make new stickers for it, gasket set, manual or anything else related to this motor. I was around 13 or 14 years old when my dad got it I'm now 76. Lots of memories here. Contact Joe Kosler, koslerw@gmail.com Thanks. Pictures included.

Yeah, I put it in the 1960's era Eska, or an Eska built for somebody else. The list is pretty long. Also, with nothing to go on, I'd say it has at least 2hp or more. But the ram cooling tube does mean it isn't much greater hp than that.

Just removed the gas tank and found that this is a tecumseh air cooled engine is this helps anyone identify the engine.
