Trying to find some tips on installing the lower crank seal on a 63 5hp gale built Sea King. I ordered a new plate, gasket, o ring, seal, spring, etc. Does everything slide over the drive shaft and sit on the roll pin, then install? Any tips?

I purchased the motor and upon removal of the powerhead found that the seal was missing. So I can't use the install in reverse order of disassembly trick.

Thanks for everyones help.

I took pictures of the seal assy. in my thread on repairing my 62 Gale 5 hp. It's a few pages back in this board section. I'll link it here later if needed when I can get on my computer.

the seal is on top then larger washer with bevel then oring ,plastic seal part, spring, metal plate rests on the roll pin. parts blow up of the 59 5.5hp cd16 on marine engine.com shows it pretty good. Just put an impeller in my sea king last month running great and stays cool
