Originally I had trouble with the carburetor and found a replacement (new) for $5.00 on ebay. This is the carburetor that has no bowl; only a diaphragm. Oddly enough it's mounted on the side of the motor. Anyway, I know I've asked a few questions and everybody likes to know the resolutions to problems for future reference. Also, I'd like to thank those who pitched in with their advice. That's what makes this site work. After adjusting a little the motor runs like a clock (not bad for a $10.00 motor and a $5.00 carb). One thing I've begun to notice is that motors with tanks on top / gravity feed seem to need more than a little bit of gas in them for some reason or the motor won't run. This includes all the various makes I have. Maybe others have experienced this. There must be some law of physics involved. Now when I fire one up I make sure there's a good visible amount of gas in the tank.
