Hello All

Just got Model 217.5946-3 serial #3E-120054 motor over the weekend looks to be fresh water use great compression. I haven't tried to start it yet I want to check the gear case and impeller first. How do I find out the year? What is the fuel ratio? And does any one have a manual or tell me where to look? Thanks for the help.

its a 1973 eska air cooled with a tecumseh powerhead. 50:1 mix and I have a PDF manual for it I can email you if you send me your email address.

Brim_buster, I've also just picked up a Ted Williams 4.5hp 2 stroke air cooled outboard. It starts and runs well. I read you may have the PDF file for the engine's manual. Is that the owner's manual or the service manual? I'd be very interested in that file if it is the service manual. My engine's chassis # is 217-5946-4 and the serial # is 3L-514497.
