Wow, thanks for all the replies guys. Nowhere on forums anywhere could I find that model number.
I haven't had time to dig into it yet, and don't even own a boat to put it on!
I note that on the leg casting it says "made in USA", but other than that and the name plate, no other data. Haven't removed the starter or cowl yet.
I note it does not have a twist throttle, rather a lever on the front. As well, it has a built-in tank on top, and a connector for larger fuel tank.
I don't know if it ever had decals on the cowl, there's non visible now, even though the stickers for fuel, choke, etc are still there.
I see that it has no clutch nor FWD/REV selector, and that the 2-blade prop is always engaged. It seems you just turn the whole motor around to get reverse. Interesting.
brin-buster, I sure would appreciate being able to see the PDF repair manual for this motor before I do anything to it - like try to start it!
