Hello,

I recently acquired a Goodyear 025-3569 which I think is a Sea Bee 5hp and is relevant to a Gale 5D10. I would like to get this old outboard running but I need ignition parts (coils, condensers, points) and an impeller. Any thoughts were to get some or if there are any OMC comparable parts?

Thanks.

I believe this will use the Evinrude Johnson system of that era.Not sure when the change over was. If they are molded plastic they are the same as the E/J motors.Should follow the 5.5 E/J. 1950-1976. Sierra number 18-5181.

Get your ignition parts right here at iboats. When searching for them, pretend you have a 1955 5.5hp Evinrude or Johnson.. Same ignition system, but very different motor. Except the lower unit is similar to Johnson TD models. Impeller is obsolete, but you can use the 5.5hp impeller by reaming out the center hole to fit the Gale shaft.
