1961 Clinton 2 1/2 hp outboard

Looking for a reed plate for this old motor. had it running smooth but then wouldn't stay running. Pulled it apart and found one of the reeds was missing. Now I know that parts for these are not around anymore but i'm hopeful.

I am not sure if it is really a Clinton now that i've been searching the internet. Here is what the tab said on the motor: T-626-63 3573889. it has a jet drive( no prop), a soup can looking fuel tank, and is really short.
