Bought this little motor to take my daughter fishing and discovered it is missing the fuel inlet needle and spring. The part number for it is 631505 tecumseh. Everywhere ive checked says no longer available and no sustitutions.
Anyone ran into this and know of a sustitute part or even a substitute complete carburetor ( original part#631602 or 631726 tecumseh) that i may be able to get.
Used would be great too.
Help please the crappie are biting and daughter is begging to go fishing

Not having any luck over the phone locally. Will have to go around town and see if anyone will help me in person.
Wish i could just find a sustitute carb that i can just buy new.

Thanks for the suggestion

Tecumseh only used those viton tipped needles a couple of years, and if you describe what you're after to a small engine shop, they **** their heads like the old RCA Victor dog in front of the grammophone. The best shot I think you got here is a gamble on this possible substitution;

When I had this problem, I spliced a weedeater's rubber tip needle to the Tecumseh needle body, but I have a lathe and a very hard head.
