I just acquired one (48 3.6 Scott) and it had no spark. I cleaned / lubricated the points and still no spark. I dressed the points again and now I have great spark. Can't stress it enough as I've learned from others on this site that the points have to be super clean. After that check the continuity of the spark plug wire. Also you might want to clean the condenser connection to the points and any other wire connection. After that I'd go with a new condenser. I'd rule all these out and lastly I'd play with the coil. They're hard to find/expensive and they're old. If it is bad you may have to do an OMC coil transplant but you'll have to find the right field. Yours is probably the thicker one which will not accept an OMC replacement coil. That whole procedure can be found on some websites. good luck!
