Snapped up this FREE 1960 Gale Buccaneer 3hp motor a few weeks back.
Got a new lower unit seal and a new wobble pump impeller. Took the carburetor apart, float looks to be in excellent condition. It is cork, however, so I'm going to spray it with alcohol resistant sealant. New ignition parts. This motor should be ready to push a canoe up the river soon.
But...
Struggling to find a new leather packing seal for the carburetor needle. The old one might be fine, but I'd really prefer the piece of mind of a new one. Previous posts on this subject say it's Part #550259, still available.
I cannot find it anywhere. I need some help.
