Today I picked up a single cylinder Firestone or Scott Atwater for $25. It has good compression and spark and I'm going to fire it up tomorrow after I re connect the fuel line and rig it up (tank missing). I can't find any make/model#/serial#/ stampings ID plate or otherwise to indicate if it's a Scott or Firestone or the year ID. I believe it's a 48 give or take a year. Any other way I can tell the mfgr. and year? thanks
