Gale buccaneer engine

Hello can any 1 help.
I just bought a boat with a gale engine on it. Was told it was 25hp but I think it could be a 15hp. Can any 1 confirm this please. Also do any 1 know what fuel mix I would use and may be where I could get my hands on a manual. (any info on this engine will help)

Yep, it is 15hp. 1962. Fuel mix is 24:1 Literature available from www.outboardbooks.com

I have one also (62 or 63- I can't remember). Anyway, you've got one great running motor. I use mine all the time. Good luck with it.
