Ignition Parts 1948 MG (Gale) Seaking 5HP

Hi,
I was hoping to find a source for ignition parts (points/coil/condenser/plug wires) for a 1948 Monkey Wards/gale SeaKing 5HP. That should get her running.

The early Ignition coils are pretty bullet proof. Ignition parts I believe are shared by all the Gale built private label motors.I think it also shares some ignition parts with the Johnson TD series motors. You could watch ebay,try www.aomci.org they have a free webvertize.

Breaker points are 580016
Condensers are 300153
Coils are 580084

I agree the coils are pretty bulletproof.

I saw a bunch of NOS points and condensers for sale at the Dec 9 aomci Gator Chapter meet. Sorry, I don't know who the seller was. But they are out there. Put a free want ad on the aomci Webvertize and see if you can arouse him.
