hey everyone, I'm new to this site and am hoping that someone can help me out!
I just purchased an old cruise n carry but it has a broken blade on the prop. It's a composite (i think is the term used) material and I am told they are cheap to buy at a marine parts place, anyone know how much a 2 blade for a 1.5 hp model 6600 cruise n carry runs?
My main question is does anyone know how to remove the darn thing. I pulled the pin and used 2 screwdrivers to try and pull it from the shaft, which appears to be a straight shaft, and the whole lower unit seemed to pull out. Is this bad? did the lower end break of did a seal just break? any tips on how to get the prop off the shaft??
