I was just given an older Clinton Outboard that has a gold colored cover with the words Clinton Chief on it. The model number is J9. Anyone have any idea what the approximate year is or the hp? It appears to be in great shape, and starts with one pull. It looks like I have to bring it in to have the recoil fixed though, I pulled the rope out(didn't break the spring) and am a little intimidated by the srping to fix it myself. Thanks for any input.
