What year is this clinton outboard?

This is a clinton out board.<br /> Model 30<br /> 755222<br /> 16527<br /> I was told that it was a 1971 but this motor looks to be much older than that. Any info on this motor would help. <br /> Thank you!<br /> JSaw

My manual goes 60-72 doesnt list a 30.<br />J300 is the closest.<br /> I would guess it is a 3hp. 2 and 3s it would have<br />1 7/8 bore and 1 5/8 stroke.Early motors used a simple scoop behind the prop to cool the exhaust leg later motors had a pump with intakes below the anti cav. plate.
