gale buccaneer 5 horse water

I have a 1961 gale buccaneer 5 horse outboard that I need to replace the impeller on. could someone tell me how to change it out? I believe I have to take the powerhead off but I am not sure what to do after that. thanks.

After the powerhead is off, remove the carbon seal components, making sure you note how they stack up. And when you put it back together, make sure the parts are all 100% good, and always replace the 303355 gasket and 303347 o-ring (and of course the powerhead gasket.

With the powerhead off, remove the two nuts from the top of the shift rod. Then remove the four screws holding the gearcase on, and drop it away. The pump will be right there looking at you.
