Champion 1J212 stator plate

I need to change the ignition coil. I removed the stator plate and I can't figure out how to remove the coil from the plate,there doesn't seem to be any screws or bolts holding it to the plate,is there something I'm not seeing? Any advice would be appreciated.

The coil laminations on those Bedix Scintilla magnetos are riveted to the plate. You remove just the coil itself by removing the spring clips on either side of the coil. The plug wire will be soldered to the coil, and will pull through the plate with some wiggling.

Thanks so much RCO,I'll take a look the minute I get home. I hope the new coils go in easy,but with these old motors nothing's ever easy,but fun to work on.
