Volvo Penta Outboard: oldie - identify?

I have a Volvo Penta small outboard engine, long shaft, all black with red 2-blade prop with the following two numbers on it:
On top, on pull-cord housing: 3576827
On side on riveted plate says: Volvo Penta 1.034363501 Uppsala - Sweden. That's a decimal following the"1"
I've searched Volvo sites - nothing. Anybody know, or know where to search?

To go on a 23-foot sailboat. Probably too small but could put on a dinghy, too.

the casting number on the pull cord housing does nothing.

post a pic or two (you have to have a few more posts under your belt)

could be a volvo penta sail drive

Volvo Penta Outboard, old, want to revive and use

I have an old Volvo Penta outboard, very small, probably only a couple of horsepower.
I want to rehab, rebuild, if possible, and use on a sailboat, 23 ft Venture of Newport.
Does anybody know anything about this old engine? Or where to find out?
Riveted metal plate says VOLVO PENTA 1.034 363 501 UPPSALA SWEDEN.
And stamped into metal on top of pull-cord housing is VOLVO PENTA 3576827

Volvo Penta 2-stroke outboard, pretty old, how to I.D. & rehab

I have an old Volvo Penta 2-cycle 1 cylinder outboard made in Uppsala, Sweden.
The riveted serial # tag says 1.034363501
Long shaft.
I want to rehab it and use it on a small sailboat.
Does anyone know how to find out model number, where to get parts, tips on rebuilding?

Do you want to use it because it's an old motor and you like that kind of stuff, or do you just want a small motor for this boat?
