I just got a 3hp ESKA 1980 model # 0945-0006-A from jcpenny.

All of the paint is in pretty primo shape. All original decals -- you can even read the sticker with the oil mixture, it looks brand new --, engine is not seized, there was some rust on the ports holding things up but some penetrating oil took care of that.. It looks like is has less than 100 hours total, Maybe less than 50 hours.
The problem is that the gear box was left without oil and the prop won't turn at all. iIve got it soaking in penetrating oil, but one of the gear teeth is a little chewed up from the rust eating it so not sure how it will pan out even if I can free it.

I tried finding the lower section for this model but haven't had luck.
Any one have one for cheap? or know if other models would swap in? Or know where to find bearings for the gearcase?

Otherwise. I'll be parting it out and buying something better. The paint is all original and in great shape. It is heads and tails better cosmetically than anything I've seen on youtube or the interwebs.

Thanks!
