I need some assistance removing the carburetor. I have a SELOC guide but it only has general directions.

Model # GG8822A
S/N 06X760940

Any tips or suggestions appreciated.

Thanks,

Pete

No Title

Remove fuel hose from nipple 43
Remove screw and retainer from upright choke arm and swing it out of the way
Pull levers #7) off the two needle valves.
Remove the two screws (#34) from the silencer and lay the whole thing forward
Remove the two nuts (#41) and pull the carb toward you, off the studs, then tilt it up and back to pull the needles out of the silencer, and out.

If I've forgotten anything or got it wrong, don't shoot. It's been a couple years since I've removed one.

Um, I think I forgot screw # 33 from the silencer, and the spring on the throttle linkage. You'll figure it out. Don't shoot yet.

Thanks, I'll give it a shot this evening. Any recommendation on tracking down a carb kit? I know it'll be gummed up.
