1948 1.5 hp Montgomery Ward/Gale

In search of propeller shaft seal for '48 1.5 Montgomery Ward.
Leaking lower unit oil profusely.
Any and all help appreciated.

In the first place, you shouldn't be using oil. It takes grease. Lubriplate 105 or John Deere Cornhead Grease. The seal is part number 550684. An Evinrude dealer can order one for you. Actually, it is a crummy seal and I modify the bearing to use a different seal.
