Hi,
I have two engines that I need help identifying.
Scott Attwater serial number 473154970.
And, a Sea Flyer (?) G6LLGS - 65116. The inky reason I suspect Sea Flyer is because I got a Sea Flyer fuel tank with the engine.
And, then of course, is there anywhere I can find parts?
Thanks,
J

The BF Goodrich Sea Flyer was made in 51-52 by Gale which is OMC. FR knows those models well hopefully he will post on this.

Yahoo! Thank you for the information. I've got to take a couple pics.
Right now it's all about the engines for they do not have complete covers, ... I've got one side cover for the
Scott and the recoil starter for the Flyer

We'll find the rest when we get back to the barn.I'm all up for getting them running around the water.
Thank you, friends,
J

Your Sea Flyer is a 1954 15hp, made by Champion. I'd venture to say it is a bit rare.

Wow my Gale manual listed those. Hows that? along with Atlas, Speagle and a bunch of other private labels. But thats why we wait for you to post so we can learn...

You were half right. Gale did make some Sea Flyers, but not that one.

Can you tell me which plugs I should be using? Right now the Scott is running but with the wrong plugs.
Thanks

Scott takes a Champion H-10, and the Sea Flyer takes Champion J-8-C
