Montgomery ward sea king starter recoil

Hey everyone,

I just recovered a barn find 1974 Sea King VWB 52010 in really good condition but need help finding a starter recoil assembly as the entire assembly is missing. After doing some research sounds like this is a re branded Chrysler motor.

Is there a Chrysler motor model to compare this to as far as finding parts? I would guess searching for the Chrysler model equivalent would yield a much better chance of finding the parts for this motor.

If its the spool type go on ebay and order the individual parts to make one. Wont be cheap

Look in the top of the forums at the outboard salvage yds post. Getting a used one will be cheaper than trying to piece one together
