Does anyone know how to find the year of an old Clinton outboard?

I have an old Clinton outboard that I am trying to find out the year. The tag is a little tough to read but as far as I can tell it says; Model: J9 1101, and Serial: 114271. If any one knows the year, or year range that would help.

Looks like the J9 was made 1959-1968. Reliable serial number lists don't seem to exist. I'd place it as a 1965-ish
