I have a buddy that just ended up with a couple of outboard motors while cleaning out his grandpa's house. One of them is a Sea King 7.5hp and he is looking for some info on it. Model # is K7001107A, Type # is 6027270R and Serial # is 592187. Anyone know what the year model is with that info and is there any place to get an owners manual on line for these? He is asking about the gas/oil mix and stuff like that?

I can't find the exact model # in my information. But i can tell you that it was made by Clinton and Clinton made the K700 from 1972 through 1975. If you are willing to pay for a manual or parts, here is the ordering info:

Clinton Engines Corporation
22563 35th Street
Maquoketa, IA 52060-8640
(563) 652-2411
They are a "cash" only place, they don't accept credit cards. If they are not there leave a message, and they do get back to you. tell them what you need, they take your order, then call you back with the price for parts and shipping.

I looked on another site that has model numbers for sea king as well as other discontinued brands. And the K700 model appears to be a 7hp made in 1973. All the 7.5 models where K751 , K752 and K753. Also it seems that the model numbers for other hp, are configured this way. An example is the 3hp was K300 and the 3.5hp was K350.
