I just picked up a McCulloch 4HP water cooled outboard, serial # 82090-17731. The carb is a Walbro 131- LMB. When I got it, the high speed needle was missing from the bowl retainer on the carb. I found a Tecumseh 29155 carb kit on ebay that was close but not correct. Does anyone know what the correct carb kit is for this motor? Thanks for any help.

Thanks, I found that page earlier. Unfortunately the kit is just a gasket kit. The needle assembly that I need is "no longer available". The complete carb kit comes with needles, seats, and gaskets. I'm still looking. Anyone?

You should be looking at a lawn mower shop. Walbro carbs used to be pretty common. However, if push comes to shove, it shouldn't be too hard to make a needle if you know someone with a metal lathe. This pix is for an air cooled McCulloch. I don't have one for a water cooled.

The manual says they also used a Tillotson AJ carb which was more popular on those models.
