martin 75. Trying to find what year. and motor HP

I have acquired my grandfathers martin 75 outboard. It needs a few small repairs to run, but I cant order parts due to not knowing the year. I have researched it and think its a 1953 but not sure. Any help would be very much appreciated.

We might be able to answer your question if you give us the model and serial numbers. But Martin 75's were made 1951-1954, some with twist throttle and some with twist shift.

its a late 3, early 54. I found the martin guru. thanks for the help

here it is. Got it started after I cleaned the carb and the fuel tank. Dad is trying to decide if he wants to keep this one or get a newer one.
