neptune boat motor

Hi, i recently bought a Neptune boat motor by muncie gear works. I dont know much about it but i was wondering if anyone knew anything like the fuel mix and year? Thanks

would probably go 16:1 or something in that range great running little motors, got talked into selling mine last fall, wish I would have kept it.

Comes back as:

1941 single cylinder 2.5 HP.

Chances are 16:1 is good, but check with the AOMCI guys for more information.

Does anyone know how to pull the flywheel? I have no spark and suspect the coil/condenser.

take off the cover and un-screw the nut, give it a little tap with a hammer and it should pop up then take it off. Dont wack too hard with the hammer

I usually use a rawhide mallet.
