I know that the powers to be say to use 50:1 mix all the way back, but it bothers me using that lean a mix in the older ones with bushings instead of bearings. So I use 32:1. That's still half as much as when they were new.
Any of the newer 90 weight marine gear lubs should work fine in the lower unit.

20:1 will be the correct fuel mix for a 1952 motor

The following is generally true: 1958 and prior used 20:1, 1959 thru 1963 used 24:1, 1964 and newer use 50:1. High performance usage (racing) requires a ratio of 25:1. New engine break-in (not DI) requires 25:1.

Can't help with the gear lube Maybe a grade 90 oil or maybe a #105 marine grease

Now I'm not saying I have the only correct lube chart but It is dated 1954 and 52,53 and 54 3hp say 1/2 pt.(8oz.) per gallon. and use TCW3 rated oil.

That was the old 16-1 mix, but the oils have improved a lot since then.

Would anyone know the part number for the exhaust plate gasket and the bottom powerhead gasket? I need to replace them and my local dealers books only go back to 65 and my manual doesnt give the numbers.
