New to boating and have a couple questions. First when I checked the oil after buying it was like and 1 1/2" over the full line. When I took the boat out the oil pressure at the start ran at like 80 PSI then went around 60psi. That looked high to me but haven't a clue. Any help would be great. Thank you Eric

Ayuh,..... Welcome Aboard,..... That's a Major Problem, All by itself,.....

Pump out the excess oil down to the Full line,....
It's just as bad to be over-full, as under-add,....
The oil level should Always be 'tween the 2 marks, not over, not under,....

Is it the right color, as in fresh motor oil amber, or darker to black, 'n oily,..??

Somebody mighta over-filled it,...
Or,....
It's gainin' oil from added water or fuel,....

Water would look milky, gas will stink up the oil,....

The oil looks great. No water or anything. I will level it to the stain on the hull and correct this issue. Any thoughts on the oil pressure at 80 then when warm going back to 60. Thank you Eric

oil gets thinner as it gets warm, pressure comes down a bit.

Ayuh,.... Oil pressure is always higher when cold, 'n drops when hot,......

It should stabilize when ya lower the level,.....

At 1, 1/2" high,... the crank shaft is beatin' the oil into a froth,...
