when the engine is running I am getting a good flow of water from the starboard exhaust but only about half that amount thru the port exhaust. Some say that is normal I do not know. Can someone help?

:welcome: to iboats

Yes I would say that is normal for the most part. The starboard side exhaust will always be cooler then the port. That said less flow is a bit abstract and like all terms it is interpreted according to the one viewing the issue. If there is very little (another abstract term) water coming out of the port then there may be an issue. If we knew what your engine is in, year and inboard or I/O we could do some more digging.

On my 440 Arabian, I had the same problem. I had impeller trash plugging up the oil and transmission coolers.
