Chrysler M318B - high torque or standard starter?

I need a new starter for my M318B and am finding the high torque gear reduction starters for a reasonable price but need to know if there are certain situations / configurations where these starters don't work? I don't want to order a htgr starter and have to send it back if it doesn't work.
