Hi all, my blower motor keeps popping the fuse on my 81 Ski Supreme, so I am going to replace it but I have a question about hose routing if their is such a thing,

the current blower is on the port side of the stern, the fuel tank sits dead center, on the current blower there is a hose running from the top up to the vent and when working moves a lot of air but makes funny noise, on the bottom I have no vent hose,

my question is should there be a hose that runs from the intake part of the blower to the engine compartment? or is that not necessary

next question is 1 blower better than the other? thanks all

Ayuh,.... Welcome Aboard,..... The blower intake tube should be pullin' air from the Lowest possible, practical point in the bilge, under the motor,..... a blower, is a blower, so long as it works,...

My inboard ski boat does not have a lower hose. the blower is mounted 5 inches above the bottom of the bilge
