Anybody know where I can get a new power steering cooler with water sender on it like this one? Or can I leave the switch off?

Have never seen one like that , whats it from, and what material? brass/bronze can be soldered up or brazed. power steering coolers are usually in the raw water inlet side and the only sensor would be a water pressure sensor

I suspect that's from a Yamaha 4.3 stern drive, but need the OP to confirm before I move it to the Yammy forum...

That pressure switch tells the computer on the YEMS engine that it has enough water pressure. Take it to a radiator shop and they can repair it.

original construction should have been brazed. that looks like a solder repair. I would keep an eye on it in the future.
