Sherwood E-35 Raw Water Pump

I have twin 350 Crusaders and am in need of a new Raw Water pump. I need the Sherwood E-35 but have noticed since I purchased my last one two years ago for about $320 the price has sky rocketed. Even the rebuild kits have soared through the roof in price.

Anyone know why this is?
