In my 93 Ski Nautique with a PCM trans changed my fluid from a dex/merc atf to Royal Purple full synthetic ATF.(dex/merc III interchangeable) And after doing so I read on Planetnautique.com that some poeple don't reccomend it because it's too slick for the clutch plates?? Just wondering if anyone on here had any thoughts on this? I just can't see how that can be possible if it's ok for auto trannys and their clutch packs??

Just wondering if I should suck it out and waste the oil before hitting the water tomorrow or not?

Thanks!!!

I went through the same thing.

Ended up going with the original stuff out of being period.

Mine says 20w oil on the tag that maybe the reason synthetic will not work.
