Hi Everyone -

I have a boston whaler rage -
inboard 2 cyl / 2 stroke engine (yamaha)

engine runs fine until it warms to operating temp.

then it starts to spudder (kinda like flooding) the motor at any kind of throttle over idle.
I release any throttle (back to idle) and the
motor purrs like a kitten.

I've replaced the plugs, and flushed the fuel.

I've also noticed the engine seems to get VERY warm after running in the ocean for a little while - is there something i should check to make sure the engine is getting the right amount (if any) water circulation. I've connected the flusher to the garden hose here at the house, and ran fresh water through it, no chunks of dirt or sand came out.

Please advise on what steps to perform before i go to the dealer....

thanks
tony
