Monterey 1994 4.3L Yamaha drive/ Motor

Any help would be great, I just purchased this boart today. I'm looking for detailed mechanics manuals along with a reference on where to buy parts.

Engine has low to no complression in 2 cylinders,

your pretty much screwed. see if you can sell the boat back. or just sell it and pass it on to the next poor soul.

No no no its your fix it
The first thing I would do is pull the head, check the valves,
And so on
Next drop the oil pan remove the pistons, check the rings
Not that hard of a job
If it were me.

Ayuh,.... I'm guessin' you haven't gotten the memo,.....

Parts for Yamaha drive systems, pretty much can't be bought in North America....

Sell it, while it's still runnin'....

He's got a motor problem, not drive. It's still a 4.3 chev motor. Any parts needed for the short block are the same as merc. You just have to be creative when sourcing parts. The first thing everyone says is your screwed and run. Well, you just need to learn where to look if you need parts. Most consumables are available at your Yamaha dealer, of course they need to bring it in though, it's not on the shelf.
