Hi ALL
I have read all the info on RH rotation and LH rotation re distributor drive and am still confused .
I have 1989 crusader 305 port engine rotates at flywheel CLOCKWISE with dizzy rotating CLOCKWISE from top .
Stb engine rotates at flywheel ANTICLOCK with DIZZY rotating CLOCKWISE from top .
That is regardless of engine rotation the Dizzy always rotates CLOCKWISE. DOes this mean the bevel drive on the dizzy is the same on both or does the bevel gear reverse the rotation . Confusion because they sell LH & RH rotation distributors
Help - loosing brain cells here

If your engine is rotating clockwise at the flywheel then you have a RH motor. This means you are facing the rear of the motor. Now if you only have one motor then it should be a LH motor.

Ayuh,..... Counter rotatin' Chevys use cam timin' gears, rather than a cam timin' chain,....

The cams still turn the same direction, as does the distributor,....

Clockwise at the flywheel, facin' the flywheel is a counter rotatin' motor,....
Counter-clockwise at the flywheel, facin' the flywheel is a standard production motor,.....
