should there be a little {faint} amount of steam coming out the exhaust, I just replaced the raw water impellers & have plenty of water flow. and I pressure tested the closed anti freeze side & no leaks. but that steam bothers me. it all ways was since I bought the boat did this but I am wondering if it is ok or not. oh and for gauges I am in the process of changing them as they are 43 years old and I don't really trust them & my next move also is to buy one of those lazer thermometer.and check the block that way too. THANKS BOB

Ayuh,.... Steam mist can occur when local weather conditions are Right,.... High humidity, possibly droppin' temps, etc,.....

Marine exhaust consists of pumpin' reasonably coolish water into the exhaust gas stream of a runnin' motor,....
The exhaust gas stream can run from several hundred degrees up to a couple Thousand degrees,....
Water boils, ei: turns to steam vapor at 212?,....

That, in itself can induce steam, into the local environment,....

Anyways,.... If in doubt, rebuild the raw water pump,....
Rubber impellers don't last forever,.... ;)
