Getting ready to order some tune up parts for my 4.3 OMC. What is the consensus for using Volvo vs. other aftermarket parts such as cap, rotor, filters, wires, etc.?
doesnt matter! oil and fuel filters napa gold. wires up for grabs cap rotor up for grabs. There are only so many manufactures of these parts. Also merc omc volvo never make these parts themselves. they out source them, that being said the also outsource to multiple companies so that if one runs out the have back ups to fill the need.
Actually , it does matter on a lot of parts. I would never use GLM and only Sierra for certain parts. OEMs have their parts manufactured by someone else but they are WAY higher quality than Sierra and GLM.
