pulled an old renkin boat out of the woods the other day and started tearing it down. going to give the hull to a friend who wants to put in an alpha setup and going to sell whats salvageable off this omc setup since I know parts are getting far and few between.

I just have no idea what this setup actually is. found a tag on it:
model: 984543
engine 5.7
serial #1041870 (dont quote me on that, this part of the tag is pretty bad)

anyone know what this is and what it fits from this info?

yeah but I'm having really weird issues with posting on the forum right now.

we "think" its a 1995? we pulled both exhaust manifolds off of it and they say barry marine on them.

OMC-J-912441-1 and what we think is a build date of 6-22-94

well I'll be. completely forgot I did since that project never got off the ground lol.

thanks for the brain refresher!

is there any difference in these setups in 1987?

Just need to figure out how to list stuff on ebay is all. If the manifolds are cracked, they'll be cracked at the riser merge? any other places to check? dont want to list them only to find out they are cracked after they get shipped.

They crack internally. Have to take the riser off, create a blocking plate and then pressure test them. I would also only think about selling them(personally I wouldn't) unless the engine was only used in fresh water.

On the rear of the boat is a hull#
The last #s have the year in there.
Post that and a few pics of the drive and motor.
