I have a 1995 four winns Freedom 180 purchased last year. on my last run back to the dock at the end of the season, my alternator belt blew. Ive never replaced a belt and want to know how difficulty it is to attempt this. If it is easy enough, can anyone tell me what the proper belt is for this engine

If you have the tools you can do it.
Maybe?? Look on the belt and see if there is any #s printed on the belt.
3852504 is the OMC part#
From the parts diagrams I've found they only put out 1 v-6 model that year.
About $40 on Amazon. $15 other places.

You need it to know it for the future for getting parts. Since you don't have power steering, the belt is likely the same between a drive built in 94 or 95. The year of the boat doesn't dictate the model year of the drive.

It will look like 43APHUB if it was built in 95 or
432ACMMDA
432ACPMDA
432AGMMDA
432AGPMDA
if it was built in 94.

There actually wasn't much difference between a 94 or 95 and the alternator belt is one thing that isn't different so the number he gave you is the correct one.

Still good to know what you have for the future. List it in your signature so people can answer your questions better in the future too.
