omc 5.7 oil pressure sender unit

Can someone tell me if I can use a oil pressure sender unit from auto part and what is the difference from a marine and auto my gauge is all the way up and when I turn off the engine it comes down any idea o recommendations thanks

you simply need to match the sender to the gauge. so if the gauge is a 0-30 ohm, or a 0-90 ohm, or a 240-33.5 ohm, get the appropriate sender.

FYI - Faria gauges match up to the OMC senders , I installed a full gauge set and didnt have to change any senders. same OHM scales on all of them.
