Impeller and Impeller Housing Sierra vs Mallory vs GLM vs Origial

Guys,

I had numerous times when my water impeller housing seal failed, started sucking air and caused engine to overheat. I used only Sierra kits, replaced complete assembly 3 times in 2 years. Are original housings and seals made different? Or Sierra and other aftermarket makers are same and there is no point of spending extra $20 for an original?

Only use OEM for something like that. Same goes for bellows, shift cables...
