1989 OMC 2.3 Liter TKO 4 with Mallory Distributor - obsolete parts...HELP

We have a 1989 Bayliner with a OMC 2.3 liter TKO 4 engine with a Mallory distributor. The engine model is 232MBRMEF.

We are in the hunt for the distributor gear and the distributor can drive. We've called everywhere and they are telling us the parts are obsolete. :grumpy:

this is what the to look like when they're together in the motor horizontal 1 is fuel distributor Drive cam vertical is the distributor.

That is a ford 2.3 motor.. likely millions of them around in scrap yards, could you not find an automotive distributor and cam to pull the gears from?
