Hey There Boaters -

I need to change out the water circulation pump on my 1988 5.0L OMC (Chevy 305) on my Four Winns Candia. I have the OMC Manual and it says that there is a Torx head bolt holding on the pump. Does anyone know what size that bolt is? I have attached a pic of the manual for reference.

The boat is at my cottage and seeing as I have a 45 minute one way drive to the hardware store - I'd like to get all the tools I need before I get up there.

Thanks in advance for the help -

Gary

Just stop by your local Harbor Freight and pick up a set of them. Then you will be good to go with very little out of pocket and a whole set for the next job that requires them. Even the tail light assemblies on my '97 E150 use those stupid screws.

I did my water pump 86 190 Candia no torx bolts only 1/2 and 9/16.
What Boomyal said is your best bet that is the way I have gotten most of my boat tools.
