Ive replaced the starter, i know my solenoid is bad but ive tried jumping it. Motor turns over now but not getting any spark. any recommendations, or advice on where to put meter to isolate problem. Im a newbie so could use any help that i can get.
A little history on boat- I got the boat from my cousin who had it sitting out in the weather for 3 years not running. It was running fine before then. The key was lost, so first i replaced ignition, drained gas and oil, changed plugs, sprayed fogging oil in cylinders. Turned key, nothing, jumped solenoid, nothing. replaced starter, jumped solenoid, motor turning over but no sparks. Also tried jumping coil.
