change ampmeter to voltmeter

what do I have to change to convert the ampmeter to a voltmeter.
a search turned up nothing, up to date.

Ayuh,.... Basically, remove the heavy wirin' from the alternator to the dash, to the ampmeter, 'n back,...
(or disconnect 'em, 'n tape 'em off)

Then put in the Voltmeter, 'n attach a wire from the ignition wire at the keyswitch to the voltmeter, 'n a ground...
